Stowage Planning Generator for VIP Green Port, Vietnam (VGP_Plan v1.0)

Stowage planning for container ships is a core activity of sea ports. It is a challenging problem for human without computer.  According to the project plan, the first version of the software to generate stowage plan for VIP Green Port, Vietnam (VGP_Plan v1.0) has completed, it includes three main functions as the following:

– Input a list of loading containers from Excel-format files.

– Input a ship structure (Bays, Rows, and Tiers) and weight constraints for each Bay.– Generate a stowage plan allowing three options:

• A constraint of container weight
• Constraints of both container weight and container type
• Constraints of both container weight, container type and port of delivery.

In future, the software will be introduced and tested at the VIP Green Port, Vietnam.
