What progress have you made in meeting the objectives of your institutional link?

Objective 1: a long term, sustainable international strategy between UK-Vietnam in maritime logistics:

– Very good progress. A research network has been initiated. A proposal was accepted for further funding from the Newton Fund. Two proposals for future sustainability submitted. Official websites and social media groups are being created. (more…)

What have been the key challenges and how have you overcome these?

The key challenge is the difficulty to work together remotely under two different systems. We overcame this difficulty by maintaining a lot of meetings via Skype and email discussions. Social Medias (e.g. Google Drive) have also been utilised for this purpose. Exchange visits have also helped in understanding the partners better. (more…)
